What is the Reed Journal?

Log a reed — give it a name and rate how it plays. Takes 30 seconds.

Test its stability — press Record below and play a simple scale. The app measures how in-tune the reed keeps you across three registers.

Compare — once you have two or more reeds tested, a comparison chart appears. Use it to pick the right reed for a performance or lesson.

Update as reeds age — reeds last about 15–20 hours of playing. Tap the stage button on a reed card to mark it as Breaking in → Peak → Declining.
